Winter: December 22nd thru March 19th

In winter, our bodies need Rest and Restoration. This is the time to increase your warm magnesium baths, eat nutrient-dense foods, and simply enjoy the holidays with your given or chosen families. During Winter, the Water element rules the thoughtful, quiet practice of self-care. Consider those habits and whether you feel rested.

Note: Feeling cold and sluggish, Ask Dr. Skip for a free shot of 3,000 year old Longevity Formula (alcohol based) during your next Treatment Session (as supplied last) during the Winter Season.

This is the time for storage.

  • We should be conserving our energy and replenishing our reserves.
  • Weak Kidney energy may present with a worsening of fears during this time of year.
  • Exhaustion now is particularly harmful, and may continue to be felt in the year to come.
  • This is the time to be sure to get to bed early.
  • Diet should focus on warming and strengthening Qi, Yang and Blood.
  • This will also be the time to eat a little more salty flavored foods such as seaweed, miso and tamari for strengthening the Kidney.
