Cancellations or Reschedules

If you need to reschedule due to our pre-screening process, there is no charge.

If you cancel or reschedule your appointment within 36 hours of your appointment time, for any other reason, you will be charged a $75 fee.

No Show
If you do not show for your assigned appointment, no refunds will be given and you will be charged a $75 fee.

Late Fee
If you are more than 10 minutes late, you may be asked to please reschedule and a $75 late fee will be charged.

Auricular Ear Needles placed in the ear, based on Rx, to stimulate a healing and relief response and are expelled by the body in 3-5 days. Ear Seeds or Sonopuncture (use of tuning forks on points) available where needles are contraindicated. Due to the extended longer lasting efficacy of Ear Needling, our office rarely uses Body Acupuncture unless clinically indicated. Services are billed in 15 min. increments. Functional Medicine

Functional Medicine is a very in-depth, comprehensive approach to finding the root causes of chronic conditions that may include things like Auto-Immune, Thyroid, Hormones, Reproductive, Cardiovascular, Digestive, Chronic Pain and/or Inflammatory Issues to name a few.
This involves analyzing both detailed health history and cutting-edge diagnostics to evaluate how your environment, lifestyle, personal beliefs, psychosocial experiences and genetics that may be impacting your health. With a nuanced perspective, laboratory tests* help detect any early signs of potential health problems.
With diet, physical activity, nutritional and botanical supplements, Chinese Rx and other lifestyle changes, as well as a treatment plan of any necessary manual therapy, acupuncture, oxidative medicine etc., Dr. Skip, OMD will work with you to support your constitutional core to optimize your unique expression of health.

Because Labs are considered ‘elective’ in nature, they are not submittable for insurance reimbursement, however, our Lab Co-op has discounted prices for Private Payers. We can verify if your insurance provides coverage for office visits for services rendered by Acupuncture Physicians.

Lab Work pricing varies greatly depending on need and is determined during your office visit. On average, while a comprehensive functional assessment retails for $5K our co-op discounts these labs to approximately $600-$800.

Lab Work

You may have blood drawn from a LabCorp convenient to you, or in some cases we can send a test kit directly to your home.

Cost of Labs may vary on testing and prices will be provided before lab orders are initiated.  Should you request Dr. Skip, O.M.D. to review lab work run by another practitioner, Dr. Skip will charge $100 review fee in additional to any office visit to review the results.

  • Dr. Skip assesses each patient’s medical necessity, determines the appropriate combination oxidative treatments, and specifies the exact number of sessions required.
  • Once the individualized plan is set, a flat 40 % discount is applied to the total cost, delivering comprehensive care at a substantially reduced price.

The patient restfully sits in a chair while supercharged oxygen gas is gently administered in the ears for few minutes to boost immunity by promoting ear, nose and throat immune function. ($100 per session)

The patient restfully lies on a treatment table while supercharged oxygen gas is administered rectally or vaginally for a few minutes. This method has been shown to very effective and less invasive then intravenous administration. Do not let rectal or vaginal scare you away. The insertion of the tiny tube is painless. ($100 per session)

This respiratory treatment is ideal for cough, wheezing or other chronic issues related to the lungs. Rx sterile components are nebulized and breathed depending on symptoms and prescribed based on traditional medical concepts. ($100 per session)
