Testosterone

Testosterone

Also derived from cholesterol similar to estrogen. Testosterone, while also very important in females, is a primary male steroid sex hormone. Levels needed for women are much lower than that of males – however, it is still a vital and important hormone needed to maintain and/or restore optimal health. Symptoms of this hormone being deficient are lack of focus or drive, loss of concentration and libido, weak bones and diminished orgasms. Must be tested before trying to regulate. Testing these levels are extremely easy as it is done via a simple saliva or blood test.
