Every treatment session is tailored to your current condition, needs, and goals. We use a progressive treatment model that encourages healing at your body’s natural pace — combining hands-on manual therapy techniques, auricular acupuncture, infrared therapy, cupping, and pain patches (when appropriate). In TCM terms, Acupuncture and Manual Therapy help to move Qi and Blood, release stagnation, nourish deficiencies, and expel external pathogens.

📅 Your Treatment Roadmap

Your initial care plan will typically begin with 6 to 8 consecutive weekly treatments. This helps establish momentum, reduce symptoms, and build a strong foundation for long-term results.

As you progress:

  • 🔄 If you’re starting with Rehabilitative care, the goal is to move toward the Therapeutic level as your symptoms stabilize.
  • 🔄 If you’re in Therapeutic care, the aim is to eventually shift into Gentle treatments for maintenance and prevention.
  • Once you’re ready for Gentle care, we recommend gradually spacing your sessions to every 2 weeks, as tolerated.
  • 📆 Long-term goal: Transition to monthly maintenance or as-needed sessions to support ongoing wellness, stress relief, and function. May include acupuncture only via our Community Acupuncture Model.

🛠️ Rehabilitative Manual Therapy

(Intensive – 60-Minute Appointment) <Booking link>.

A deeper, more focused session aimed at chronic issues, structural imbalances, or long-standing dysfunction. Pressure is applied intentionally but always within your tolerance.

Note: For chronic / severe cases expect ~3 rounds of treatment cycles to stabilize rehabilitation. Please note this is our most popular treatment session and slots fill up quickly.  If none are available, you may need to choose a shorter treatment.

  • 🌡️ Infrared therapy is used at a higher therapeutic setting for deep tissue recovery.
  • 🧬 Auricular Acupuncture is always provided based on your needs and prescription.
  • 🌀 Cupping therapy is commonly included to address adhesions and chronic restrictions.

💪 Therapeutic Manual Therapy

(Moderate Intensity – 45-Minute Appointment) <Booking link>

Moderate-pressure, hands-on treatment that addresses muscle tension, joint mobility, and circulation. Ideal for ongoing recovery, injury rehab, and stress-related tension.

  • 🌡️ Infrared therapy is applied at a moderate setting to enhance circulation and healing.
  • 🧬 Auricular Acupuncture is provided as indicated, tailored to your condition.
  • 🌀 Cupping therapy may be performed as needed for fascial release and blood flow support.

🌿 Gentle Manual Therapy

(Light Intensity – 30-Minute One-on-One Appointment) <Booking link>

A soothing, surface-level treatment focused on calming the nervous system, reducing pain, and supporting tissue healing — especially helpful for acute conditions or high sensitivity.

  • 🌡️ Infrared therapy is applied at a low setting for relaxation and comfort.
  • 🧬 Auricular Acupuncture is included as needed, based on current symptoms and clinical prescription.
  • 🚫 Cupping is rarely used at this stage, unless clinically necessary.

👥 Community Acupuncture Model

(Auricular Acupuncture-Only, Cost-Effective, and Collaborative) <Booking link>

Once manual therapy is no longer clinically indicated and only acupuncture is needed, patients are encouraged to transition into our Community Acupuncture model.

This setting provides:

  • Auricular Acupuncture-only treatment, without manual therapy.
  • 💰 A more cost-effective option for continued healing and symptom management.
  • 🤝 A shared, quiet treatment space designed for relaxation and accessibility.
  • 🕊️ Ideal for ongoing support with stress, energy, pain relief, immune balance, and preventative care.

Community Acupuncture is a great way to maintain progress, support your health goals, and stay connected to care — all while reducing cost and time.

🧘‍♀️ Supportive Modalities in All Sessions

  • 🌡️ Infrared Therapy (BioMat) is typically always included and adjusted to your comfort level.
  • 🧬 Auricular Acupuncture is incorporated based on your symptoms and prescription.
  • 🌀 Cupping is typically used in moderate and intensive sessions, when clinically appropriate.
