Gua-Sha Scraping/Cupping: These types of services are used as part of my treatment to modify or prevent pain perception and to normalize the body’s physiological functions and increase circulation overall. There is a likelihood of therapeutic bruising and/or skin discoloration and irritation on the body-area on which the modality is performed. Most patients describe this much like a very deep-tissue manipulation and find it relaxing. There may also be a slight probability of mild discomfort from this procedure.
